This kind of vegetable oil causes massive hormonal imbalance, and this results in breakouts of the worst kind – cysts that take weeks to disappear! Vegetable oil is most commonly eaten as a cooking oil, like sunflower oil. Avoid using these cooking oils.
Don’t Believe Everything You Have Heard
The next step you can take to improve your acne condition is to change your eating patterns to a healthier intake. You may have heard old wives tales about greasy food causing acne and to some degree, there is truth. A healthy diet that is full of nutrients, antioxidant-rich foods and a good amount of fiber will keep the body healthy and keep it from allowing the bacteria to grow out of control.
Beware of myths! Eating chocolate can’t induce acne to happen. In fact, no research has shown eating specific type of foods can cause breakouts. However, each individual is different. You have to take notice as to what food can cause negative reaction to your skin so you can avoid eating that food to prevent acne spreading all over your face.
Junk food and pop are a huge cause of acne, we are told. Again there is just no factual substance to back this up. That being said, there is no evidence this is not true, and good nutrition is always a good idea for the body. There are vitamins that can help the body maintain its balance, none of which come from junk food, and for some people there may be a reaction between junk food and acne, but this is not the burnt in stone law this is often passed off as.
Using Food to Prevent Acne
A reduction of foods noted for creating the hormones to go out of the whack proved to me that I could reduce my acne within a matter of a few days. By eating more food that balances hormones I cleared my skin. It’s really simple, and I just wish I had found out about it a lot earlier. The worst food for acne is vegetable oil. It causes cystic acne, inflamed, red bumps, that take ages to heal and fade. Vegetable oil is easy to avoid (for example don’t use sunflower oil to cook with), and results of avoiding it are usually very noticeable.

In addition, acne development doesn’t have anything to do with someone having poor hygiene, though keeping your skin clean with mild washing a couple of times a day certainly helps. However, constant vigorous scrubbing because you’re worried about poor hygiene can actually irritate the skin and make matters much worse.
